I am visually impaired since birth and am one of the founding members of NOND. I am a women's health nurse and currently work in a busy OB GYN practice as a triage nurse and do labor and delivery agency work on the side. I love being a part of NOND as it has opened many opportunities for me to give back to other nurses and potential nurses who have visual disabilities. In addition, I have worked on the resource list which has helped people around the country receive accommodations for the impairments.
