I have been involved with the disability community for over 25 years. In my recent past I specifically worked with students with disabilities in health sciences programs. I became particularly interested in the barriers created by "Technical Standards" that many programs used as a way to prevent students with disabilities from entering their programs. Since it's inception I have worked with NOND and continue to have a passion for the work even though my current work has taken me out of the healthcare field I continue to consult and provide resources to health sciences programs across the country. I have seen NOND grow from an idea to fruition and I would like to continue to help it grow to full bloom.
