Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic is seeking candidates for the following position:
Outpatient Psychiatric Nurse for the Community Treatment Team
Status: Regular Full Time (40 hours per week)
    Shift: Primarily a daylight position, with some non-traditional hours and occasional weekends and on call duty. This position does not require frequent weekend, night or Holiday work. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

    Pay Range: Min $16.02 Mid $21.03 Max $26.05

    Educational/Knowledge Requirements: Registered Nurse required. Minimum of three years of mental health direct care experience required.

    Licensure/Certification: Act 33/34 licensure required. Current Pennsylvania RN license required. Valid PA driver’s license required.

    Duties include: The CTT is an extremely innovative and effective model of care for those with a serious psychiatric illness. The Nurse is part of a team of professionals who work primarily in the community and who provide holistic care to the individuals and help them in their own recovery.

Senior Scholar: Clinical Nursing Research

    The School of Nursing at George Mason University invites applicants for a senior faculty position for Fall 2007. George Mason University is an innovative, entrepreneurial institution with national distinction in a range of academic fields and located just 4 miles from the Washington, DC beltway in Fairfax, Virginia. The University enrollment is just over 30,000 students studying in 144 degree programs at campuses in Arlington, Fairfax, and Prince William. Housed in the College of Health and Human Services, the School of Nursing enjoys multiple opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.

    The School of Nursing consists of three Divisions that provide structure and administrative oversight for a full complement of baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral degree programs in nursing. This new senior scholar position will contribute to a program of research in chronic illness and disability or rehabilitation science. He/she will work with colleagues in the College Center for the Study of Chronic Illness and Disability and the Center for Health Policy Research and Ethics to create the research platform for graduate programs and tracks in rehabilitation science.     Required: a master’s degree in nursing and a doctorate in nursing, health services research or rehabilitation science; background and experience consistent with tenure at the rank of full professor; record of research with extramural funding success. Experience with clinical trials research methodology is highly desirable. This is a 9-month appointment. Salary is highly competitive.
